Established in 1982, Formech is a UK designer and manufacturer of vacuum forming machinery. The vacuum forming process was first introduced in the 1930’s and is still thriving today across an ever increasing number of applications. No doubt those early pioneers could never have imagined the impact and longevity of their discovery. Continual advancements in material technology allied with the explosion of online information and tutorials has contributed to the huge growth and diversity of vacuum formed products. Its wide use in education has inspired the next generation of budding designers utilising the latest materials and techniques. Since 1982 Formech has worked closely with the world’s leading material, tooling and trade formers to develop a range of vacuum forming machines, which are easy to use and deliver consistent results with the most challenging applications.
